6. No One Remembers A Majority Of Her Movies

Have you seen the film Paranoid? What about the romantic drama The Sleeping Dictionary? Ever heard of the conspiracy thriller Awake? Or the crime erotic drama The Killer Inside Me? No? Well, Jessica Alba starred in all of these movies, but many viewers, even cinemaphiles, seemed to have missed them. Alba has almost forty movies under her belt, and she was featured in over a dozen television shows—a mainstay of three of them. However, we’re only familiar with a handful of these films—and not always for the best reasons.

Alba had many film projects in between her blockbuster movies, Sin City, Fantastic Four (yes, it was a commercial success), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Alba won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Female Movie Star over Keira Knightley and Kirsten Dunst), and Machete. Alba was, in fact, rather prolific, appearing in six films in 2007 and five films in 2010, getting back to work right after the birth of her first child. Yet, none of us remember any of these movies—most of which were romantic comedies—and neither do the big-time Hollywood directors.
