Instead, Jessica Alba received many nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards, also called Razzie Awards or Razzies. At the height of her career, Alba was getting recognition in the parody award show that honored the worst of cinematic under-achievements. She was nominated as Worst Actress for both Fantastic Four and Into the Blue in 2006, Worst Actress for Awake / Good Luck Chuck / Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2008, Worst Screen Couple with Hayden Christensen for Awake / with Dane Cook for Good Luck Chuck / with Ioan Gruffud for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer also in 2008, and Worst Actress for The Eye and The Love Guru in 2009. In 2011, Alba won Worst Supporting Actress for Little Fockers / Machete / The Killer Inside Me / Valentine’s Day. Ouch.

It wasn’t the recognition Alba wanted, but it kept her in the spotlight—of shame. Sadly, unlike other Razzie winners, Alba didn’t have any Oscar or Golden Globe nominations to counter the growing consensus that was a terrible actress.
