13. She Never Won An Oscar

Fashion Awards

Despite what many critics say, Jessica Alba can act. She did win the grand prize (free acting classes) in an acting competition she joined when she was 11 years old. All in the same year, Alba won Best Actress on Television at the 27th Saturn Awards, Breakthrough Actress of the Year at the ALMA Awards, Breakout Star of the Year at the TV guide Awards, and Choice Actress at the 2001 Teen Choice Awards along with a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series at the 58th Golden Globe Award. Not bad at all for her first big television gig.
Aside from winning the Young Hollywood Award for Superstar of Tomorrow and the MTV Movie Award for Sexiest Performance in 2005 for her starring role in Sin City and earning nominations for Best Hero and Best On-Screen Team at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards for her role in Fantastic Four, Alba was named among Playboy’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities, voted the fifth Sexiest Female Star in Hollywood.com, and ranked first in AskMen’s 99 Most Desirable Women.
And, that’s it. Alba never won an Oscar. Nor was she ever nominated for one. Despite securing many acting gigs throughout her career, she was never acknowledged by the Academy for her film roles.
