In only a matter of years, The Honest Company has earned over a billion dollars, of which Jessica Alba owns roughly 20%. Alba has been traveling around the United States, promoting her products and educating researchers and consumers on the dangers of chemicals found in many baby, personal, and household items. Though it doesn’t sound like Alba needs to make new movies, there’s no better time for her to reboot her acting career. An actress of her age and caliber is a great catch for any primetime TV drama that needs a star to headline it. This is a path that many actors and actresses have chosen to successfully reinvent themselves in their 30s or 40s, including Penélope Cruz in American Crime Story, Reese Witherspoon in Big Little Lies, and Claire Danes in Homeland.

There are plans for Alba to star in and produce a documentary series for Disney+ which will focus on different families around the globe and their beliefs and culture. Looks like the beautiful Jessica Alba will get to pursue her first love, with some amount of control, and a meaningful role.
