The Korean War divided the country into North and South, where perhaps the most dangerous golf course in the world is located. The golf course in Camp Bonifas, formerly Camp Kitty Hawk, is located just 400 meters south of the Korean demilitarized zone. Constructed by a group of soldiers in 1972, there was only room for one hole, with the green surrounded on three sides by live minefields. The 192-yard par 3 course not only features man-made hazards, but also comes with some dangerous wildlife like spotted wild boars and Korean tigers, according to the soldiers. Though the minefield is separated by an 18-foot high security fence, there is still the prospect of an exploding golf ball.
