Definitely one of the most unusual and extreme golf courses in the world is the Uummannaq Golf Course in Greenland, home of the World Ice Golf Championship since 1999. Players in this 36-hole, 2-day tournament will have to contend with temperatures as low as -50°C, which is an ideal setting if you want to get hypothermia. The course changes each year, depending on the weather, with icebergs considered a part of the course, the greens called “whites,” and the hazards include seal dens and crevasses.
