The only golf course in the world that is located inside an airport, the Kantarat Golf Course sits between two runways at the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok. Golfers tee off in this 18-hole course, which is mostly straight, just 20 yards away from the passenger jets. The first nine run parallel to the take-off runway, with planes taking off presenting the biggest distraction due to its noise. Security is pretty tight here, with guests having to go through a metal detector and having their bags scanned, and video and photography inside is prohibited. Though not the most challenging course, golfers need to make the ball fly straight as it can hit airplanes if it slices off.
