The longest golf course in Africa at almost 8,500 yards, the Legends Golf and Safari Resort features an 18-hole, Championship golf course as well as a chance to experience Africa’s supreme wildlife up close. Located at the Entabeni Safari Conservancy in the Limpopo province of South Africa, you can see herds of zebra, antelope, and giraffe roaming the fairways but lions and leopards are not far behind. Legends is more famously known for it’s “19th” hole, which is considered the most extreme and toughest par 3 in the world. The tee box sits atop Hanglip Mountain 1,300 feet above the green, which is only accessible by helicopter. It is so high that it takes the ball about 20 seconds to reach the ground.
