This is a large pack hunting white dog originally from Argentina. It may look like an upsized pit bull that was bred to hunt boars and pumas. They weigh over 120 pounds and can reach a height of 30 inches. They are very protective of their owners, and distrust other animals and people. This is why this dog is recommended for skilled and experienced owners only. Because they were used for fighting, this breed is prohibited in some countries like the UK, Iceland, Singapore, Denmark, among others. They are used mostly as police and military dogs, but are also good at search and rescue. They can make good house pets provided they are trained and socialized well in the early stages of their life.
