This is an Italian large breed guard dog. They are strong but peaceful dogs recognized for their loose wrinkly skin. They are protective and don’t trust strangers. But they are intelligent and easy to train. However, they tend to drool often, but don’t need much maintenance. They weigh about 160 pounds on the average, with an average height of 75 cm. They are longer than they are tall, and come in a variety of colors, most preferred are black, grey, and leaden, but come also in mahogany, fawn, and hazelnut. Sadly, they don’t live as long as other big dogs, with an average lifespan of only 7 years.
