Like many other Hollywood celebrities, Ellen has had her fair share of legal issues. Most of you know that Ellen dances to tons of songs per episode, but early on in the show, many labels were upset that she didn’t ask their permission first. Because of this, the comedian was pursued by these labels, claiming she was breaking their licensing rules and laws. Thankfully at that time, Ellen was about to become a judge on ‘American Idol,’ and because of this and the fact that many of the labels represented many of the American Idol winners, they agreed to settle out of court, although it was shared that she spent a fortune on fees anwyay.
