The “Ellen Dance” Wasn’t Just Because Of The Show

If you’ve never seen her show, then you might not know what the “Ellen Dance” is. This is when Ellen comes out at the start of her TV show and dances with everyone in the audience until she reaches her chair on stage. That dance that everyone has come to know and love actually began when she was just 13-years old due to her parents divorce. Ellen, who had moved to be with the mother, started dancing in order to help cheer her mom up and make her laugh in order to cope with the divorce. Eventually, this is what gave her the courage to perform and feel comfortable in front of a crowd, which she does now without complete and utter ease.
