Ellen is probably one of the most successful celebrities in Hollywood, having had quite a long and illustrious career. And while she attended college at the University of New Orleans with a major in Communications, she actually never finished and ended up working with her cousin Laura in a law firm. Eventually, Ellen was able to get an honorary doctoral in 2009 from Tulane University and was even asked to give the commencement speech during the graduation ceremony. She may not have earned her original degree, but she sure has come a long way when it comes to “making it” in the world of show business.
