Bangkok has its share of seedy bars and clubs, where someone may approach you and ask if you are interested in buying drugs. Politely say no, or you may get yourself into trouble. Always be aware of your surroundings, if the bar looks too seedy, get out and go to another. There are many to choose from. Tourists who look for illegal drugs often times get more than they bargain for. At times they buy fake drugs, at ridiculously high prices. But that is not the worst of it.
