Never Completely Trust Tuk-Tuk Drivers

Tuk-tuk refers to the three-wheeled motorized vehicle that Bangkok is famous for. Unfortunately, not all the drivers are nice people. Some are actually scammers, or worse, goons or thieves in disguise. So always be careful. Don’t let the drivers fool you into stopping at other places aside from your destination. They are paid by these stores to bring tourists over. Their goods are surely overpriced. If you have befriended a local, ask them for advice on where to get good tuk-tuk drivers to bring you around. Chances are, they have honest relatives who drive these contraptions.
