If you are under 18 and wants to drink, you can as you don’t worry about having to reach a certain age for you to consume alcohol. However, if you want to do so in bars, restaurants, or cafes, you must be 18 or older. There’s also an age requirement if you want to purchase alcohol in a store, and generally, the higher the alcohol content, the higher the age requirement. These are some of the things in place to prevent minors from buying alcoholic drinks.
