Don’t Assume Weed is Legal

If you visit the small hippie district of Freetown Christiania in Copenhagen, you will surely see the stalls where weed and hash is being openly sold, particularly on Pusher Street. But don’t think that the buying and selling of the drug is legal. Buying and smoking the stuff can get you in trouble with the authorities, but only when they are there. The dealers and the police conduct their own surveillance on each other as police raids can happen any time.
