Don’t Drive Too Fast

If you decide to rent a vehicle to sightsee and visit places, do remember there are rules. Take note particularly of the speed limit, which varies from place to place, but runs from 30kph to a maximum of 90kph. The fines are heavy and will cost you a lot. For example, in a zone where the speed limit is 30kph and you go even just a bit over, it will cost you $80. And if you exceed the 90kph maximum anywhere, it will cost you at least $400. If you are speeding near a school, hospital, or residential area, it will go over $550, plus the loss of your driving permit for 3 months. And don’t think you won’t get caught, you will. It will be useless to argue with the authorities as well. So remember this rule and enjoy your sightseeing.
