Again, some quirks about the weather in Iceland…it can change dramatically in a single day. While it may appear fabulous from your hotel window, always bring your coat in case you need it. Hopefully you may not need it. Most days in summer are predictable with sunny mornings. But it can rain in the afternoons, and snow at night. Winter is more extreme. You never know when a snowstorm will happen, so it’s best to be prepared. You may not need a jacket, especially if you are used to the cold temperatures, but it’s always nice to have one when, or if you need it.
