While there are several beaches great for swimming, not all are safe. If you see a warning sign in Iceland, anywhere for that matter, take it seriously. Several tourists have been victims for not taking the warning signs seriously. There are many dangers in Iceland, so locals try to keep people safe, but if you don’t listen, you are the only one to blame should anything untoward happen.
