Never Mock The Locals’ Belief In Elves

Really, around 55% of the population believe in the existence of magic folk, and will swear to it. Elves, fairies, etc., are present in traditional beliefs passed on from generation to generation. Don’t try to convince them otherwise, that will be a serious mistake. Besides, locals do not feel comfortable discussing their beliefs with outsiders. Just respect their beliefs, and enjoy.
