Never Disrespect The Rocky Statue

Artist A. Thomas Schomberg was asked to recreate a statue of Rocky Balboa for one of the scenes in Rocky III, which shows the actor playing the role, Sylvester Stallone, standing triumphantly with his arms in the air. After the movie was complete, the statue was donated by Stallone to the city of Philadelphia and has stood there ever since, becoming one of the biggest tourist attractions throughout the city. Tourists love to come and take photos with the statue but are asked to never disrespect it since it is considered a public work of art. Go ahead and take a photo but remember that if it was standing in an actual museum, there would be no way you’d ever be allowed to touch it.
