Never Travel By Bicycle

Unless you are a seasoned biker and are used to getting around on a bicycle everywhere you go, then we suggest that you never travel around Philly on a bike. Although the Center City and other areas actually have what they call a ‘thriving biker community,’ equipped with actual bike lanes that cyclists use, this isn’t true for every part of the city either. As much as people enjoy biking, many of the other locals drive everywhere and won’t be afraid to give you their loudest honk if they think you’re in their way. So unless you’re used to biking while battling it out with actual vehicles, then stick to public transportation or Ubering around instead.
