Never Go To The Betsy Ross House

The Betsy Ross house is on the top of many “Must Do” things when visiting Philadelphia. Ross was the seamstress that sewed the very first American Flag and her home was the place where she diligently worked on creating America’s most significant national symbol. But what many tourists don’t know is that the Betsy Ross House that they go and see is not her actual house. Her home had fallen apart from ruin and was demolished so the house the sits right beside her home is what is used to tour people but it’s actually not her home.
