While there are a bunch of walking tours that you can join in Philly, if you just happen to be walking around the city, never attempt to take a leisurely stroll, unless you want to have a bunch of locals be incredibly annoyed with you. People in Philadelphia tend to walk very fast, no matter where they are in the city. If you’re going to be the type of tourist that needs to stop and check a map, google or otherwise, don’t stand in the middle of the sidewalk to do it.
