Although Philadelphians don’t like to be compared to people from New York or New Jersey, they do enjoy heading over to Jersey Shore, which is located in New Jersey. The trip, which takes about 5 to 6 hours, isn’t too far from Philly and gives everyone that visits a chance to get out of the city for a while and enjoy some time by the ocean. Jersey Shore has tons of fun things to do like strolling around the boardwalks, checking out some of the vineyards and wineries, or trying their luck in Atlantic City. Whatever the case may be, just make sure you plan accordingly because visiting during the summertime might make you feel like you’re stuck in a can of sardines.
