Another historical site worth visiting is the Kondovan Village of Tabriz. The village, which has homes that were carved inside the rocks formed by volcanic remains are said to be around 700 years old. And what makes it even more amazing is the fact that the rock the village was built into is like its very own insulator, keeping the homes cool in the summer and warm during the colder winter months.
