Another stunning landmark that you can find in Iran are their natural terraced hot springs in Mazandaran known as the Badab-e Surt. Much like other hot springs, this natural wonder actually has an orange hue during the daytime and sits 6,040 feet above sea level. It was created by ‘the culmination of thousands of years of limestone deposited by water flowing from two mineral hot springs.’ But more than that, it attracts visitors because of its supposed medicinal properties due it’s high mineral content. And what makes it even more incredible is how the water changes color depending on the sky and how the sunlight hits it.
