Iran is home to some of the most breathtaking mosques anywhere in the world, and the Imam Mosque alone is proof. Located in Isfahan, it was built back in 1611 and still stands tall and lovely until today. Each wall is covered in a variety of mosaic tiles using 7 different colors, and every detail was obviously thoroughly planned out and executed as seen from this gorgeous photo. This mosque is also considered as ‘a landmark of Iranian art,’ and in order to keep it safe, it’s actually kept protected to maintain its original beauty.
