Another stunning mosque is the Nasir Al-Mulk Mosque which was given the nickname “Pink Mosque” due to the colors that shine all throughout the room when the sun hits it. Located in Shiraz, the structure was built in the Qajar era from the year 1876 to 1888. For those that plan to visit this glorious “pink mosque,” it’s said that they should go in the early morning as that’s when the sun makes the most dramatic displays when the sun hits the gorgeous stained glass and splintering a ton of colors all the floor.
