Located in Kashan, the Borujerdis House was built back in the late 1800s. Legend has it that it was built by a rich merchant named Sahdi Medhi Borujerdis that was courting the daughter from a very wealthy and respected family in Kashan. In order to get married, the merchant was tasked to build a house that was just as beautiful as the home that his intended lived in herself. Incredibly, the entire project took almost 2 decades to complete but the outcome was said to be one of complex and astounding beauty. Until today, the mansion is still considered to be one of the most exquisite homes in Iran and people visit from near and far just to see it.
