Check For Rotting Produce

It seems when you see ripe produce on your counter, you can either eat them before they rot, or toss them in the trash bin. But what about rotting potatoes, garlic, or onions in your pantry? Always do a rotten produce check. Even spilled fruit juice you didn’t clean up which seeped under the refrigerator for instance, can breed a thousand fruit flies. Or the recycling bin in the basement which is never emptied or cleaned. Don’t give the fruit flies any opportunity to breed. The more breeding grounds they have, the more your problems will pester you. Check your surroundings, and be especially mindful for rotting produce.
