Chest Pain

The New York Post

Chest pain or discomfort with dizziness may indicate many underlying reasons. In general, these symptoms aren’t a cause for concern, especially when they go away quickly. Angina or chest pain occurs when a part of your heart doesn’t receive enough blood. Usually, you experience this discomfort during physical activity, but it can also happen when you’re at rest. For example, if your anxiety builds up, or if you have an anxiety disorder, you may experience chest tightness with dizziness.
Immediately seek medical assistance if your angina and dizziness last for more than 15 minutes, especially if you cannot breathe or if the pain spreads to other parts of your body. Chest pain and dizziness accompanied by shortness of breath, fatigue, headache, nausea, sweating, weakness, or ringing in the ears may be symptoms of a heart attack, heart disease, severe high blood pressure, or a panic attack.
