Tiredness And Weakness

Dave S. Noni

Many different conditions can make you feel tired, weak, and dizzy. The most common conditions associated with these symptoms are hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), hypotension (low blood pressure), anemia (low red blood count), abnormal heart rhythms, migraine headaches, and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). When your blood sugar level drops, you may feel dizzy, shaky, tired, and weak. When your blood pressure drops, you may experience lightheadedness and fatigue. When your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen to all your organs and tissues, you may become dizzy and tired.
CFS is a condition that causes extreme exhaustion, even after a good night’s sleep. Its symptoms include dizziness, tiredness, loss of balance, headache, muscle pain, trouble concentrating or remembering, trouble sleeping, and allergic reactions or sensitivities to foods, medicines, and other substances.
Certain medications, such as antidepressants, anti-seizure drugs, muscle relaxants, drugs that lower blood pressure, or drugs used to treat diabetes, may also cause dizziness and fatigue as side effects.
