Most people know Ryan Reynolds as the quick-witted, hilarious, and seriously good-looking actor and husband of Blake Lively. But there was a time when he was just a young sweet-faced teenager hoping to make it from his homeland of Canada into the American entertainment industry. These days, he headlines some of the biggest blockbusters with talent fees in the millions. But back in the early days of his career on shows like Fifteen on Nickelodeon and the like, he himself shares that he didn’t make much. Reynolds said, “I remember we were paid 150 bucks per episode. And I still had a paper route so I would do my TV show and then I’d go home and do my paper route each day. For me, I thought I was, like, a gajillionaire. For $150 a day, it was like a dream come true.”
