Matt Damon and Ben Affleck received major acclaim for their film Good Will Hunting, and for good reason. But while the world was awash with praise and respect for these two young men, apparently Matt Damon wasn’t the nice guy that everyone thought he was. He met Minnie Driver on the set of the movie, and two started dating. But apparently after winning on Oscar for the film, he was invited on the Oprah show and told her that he was single and not dating anyone, when in fact he and Driver were still together. Driver told the LA Times, “It’s unfortunate that Matt went on Oprah. It seemed like a good forum for him to announce to the world that we were no longer together, which I found fantastically inappropriate. Of course, he was busy declaring his love for me on David Letterman a month previously.”
