Clueless was one of those 90s movies that just stays with you forever. It was basically the film that put Alicia Silverstone on the map, and proof that Paul Rudd doesn’t age, as ridiculous as it sounds. Aside from having a cult following like no other, it was just one of those films that you can watch over and over again. From the outrageous script to the incredible outfits, and the forever famous line “As if!” from Silverstone’s character, Cher, the cast just knew that the movie was going to be a cult classic, and one that they knew they’ll never forget making. According to Paul Rudd, “After the table read we all went and got a bite to eat. We went to a place not far, around the corner, that I used to go to, which was kind of a bar. They probably should not have let some of those kids in. I do remember all of us sitting around saying, ‘How cool is it that we’re all going to do a movie about kids our own age?’ And having that conversation about the John Hughes movies to our generation. It had been a while since there was one of [those]— How cool would it be if this thing had legs?”
