This photo might have been taken back in the 90s, but if you look at any current photograph of Angelina Jolie today, she looks exactly the same! Although her earlier years showed a much less refined side with her ripped up clothes, cigarette smoking, and even carrying a vial of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck, the current Jolie is always a lady of elegance and poise. Regardless of how incredibly unruffled she is in real life, the characters she plays tell a whole other story. Talking about her character in the movie Girl Interrupted – a role that won her the Oscar too – she plays a girl named Lisa living in an insane asylum, Jolie said “I really, genuinely thought I was the only character who was sane in the entire film. And if you watch it closely, that’s exactly how I was playing it: I am just the only sane person here. I was actually almost upset when people said I was so good at playing insane because I never thought she was insane. She was just incredibly honest, which, I guess, made her seem crazy.”
