Tom Hardy began his career as a model, winning the Find Me a Supermodel competition back in 1998 when he was just 21. This allowed him to finally break into the Hollywood scene, starring in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down, earning himself a number of accolades because of it. But his life wasn’t always as successful, having overcome a huge drug and alcohol addiction from the time that he was just a teenager. According to Hardy, he hit rock bottom after waking up in a pool of his own vomit and blood in London. He decided to enter rehab and spent the next 28 days getting sober, and turning his life completely around.
