Back in 1982, Philip Workman happened to make the worst decision of his life and rob a bank after deciding to leave his wife and young daughter in their Georgia home one night. A heavy cocaine user, he hitchhiked from Memphis, Tennessee where he robbed a Wendy’s restaurant and ended up killing a police officer in the process. He was sentenced to death by legal injection and was executed on May 9, 2007.
