John David Duty is yet another murderer that was already serving time in jail for abhorrent crimes such as robbery, rape, and shooting with intent to kill, when he would end up killing a fellow inmate while incarcerated. His sentence was then changed in order to put Duty on death row. But because of the shortage of drugs that are used for lethal injections, he was sentenced to die using drugs that are normally used to euthanize animals instead of humans.
