Ronnie Lee Gardner was one of those prisoners that just didn’t know how to stop killing. He was convicted for killing two people, one in a robbery and the other in an actual failed escape like in the movies while he was being transferred to another prison. While inside jail and sentenced to death row, he killed a fellow inmate via stabbing. In Utah, which is actually one of the busiest states for executions, there was a lack of lethal injections so he was eventually shot to death by a firing squad.
