Gardner’s Last Meal Request

Gardner’s last meal request was reminiscent of a favorite meal in a fancy restaurant. He asked for lobster tail, steak, apple pie ala mode and some 7Up as well. And while he was granted his very last food request, he was given his meal two days before he was actually executed. That’s because he was made to fast 48 hours before being shot to death, which he did by watching the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings,” which is only nine hours and eighteen minutes. It was never shared what he did with the other almost 39 hours.
