Robert Alton Harris was yet another controversial prisoner considering his execution on death row was the first in California since 1967. He was found guilty of murdering two teenage boys, a crime he committed alongside his brother. After killing the boys in a remote area in the woods, the brothers robbed a bank using the car to getaway but were caught just 30 minutes after their crimes. Harris was executed by gas chamber in San Quentin, California on April 21, 1992.
