Steven Frederick was convicted of murder after killing his ex-girlfriend. He believed that she had become romantically involved with someone else, and decided to kill her in her own home. He devised four different plans to murder her, but eventually he killed her by choking her, wrapping tape around her mouth and face, then putting a plastic bag over her head. His attorneys tried to suggest he wasn’t of sound mind but he was eventually found guilty of his heinous crime regardless.
