Probably one of the more elaborate murders ever, Robert Dale Conklin was caught after a janitor found the dissected body of his victim in the dumpster, along with bloodied linens, a screwdriver, and other tools. When asked about what happened, Conklin shared with the jury that he and his boyfriend were wrestling on the bed when he took a screwdriver and pushed it into his boyfriend’s ear, wriggling it around. He the dissected the boyfriend’s body and dumped the evidence in the trash. Obviously he didn’t think it through since the evidence was all in one bin.
