Jenny Agutter, The British Beauty

Jenny Agutter is a British actress that moved around a lot as a child because her dad was an officer in the army. She also began her career at just 12 years old, and ended up getting a lot of jobs almost continuously in her young life. One of her more known roles was in Logan’s Run, but she actually won a Bafta for her portrayal in Equus, a movie she didn’t think would be as popular as it was. Agutter shared later on, “One of the things about acting that I love is that if you end up doing really low-budget stuff where you have no money, you appreciate how funny it is to have that much of a budget. For me, it just delights me going from one extreme to the other. It’s like being allowed to have fish and chips one night and caviar the next. Fish and chips is really good but so is caviar.”
