The Goldengirl, Susan Anton

Susan Anton is best known for her deep husky voice, her svelte figure and platinum blonde hair. She was once the model for Muriel Cigar, where she sang their theme song, “Let Muriel turn you on. That is my desire. Muriel lights a flame in me. Where there’s Muriel smoke, there’s fire.” She ended up getting the lead role in a movie, Goldengirl, where she looked the part perfectly. She also went on to star in Cannonball Run II, and wasn’t easily forgotten. Although she delved into acting, it was because of her singing career that she really soared, even having her very own show in Las Vegas.
