The Sweet Faced Susan Dey

Susan Dey was one of the beloved characters on fan-favorite show, The Partridge Family. She played the character of one of the daughter’s, Laurie, a role she got when she was 17 after a short-lived modeling career. Rumor had it that Dey was in love with her co-star David Cassidy, who oddly played her brother on the show. Although the two dated after the series’ wrapped up, it didn’t last very long. Their “mother” on the show, Shirley Jones, shared how Dey didn’t quite enjoy working on the show, saying, “She and David had grown apart, and nowadays they are completely out of touch, which hurts David tremendously… I was also hurt that out of everyone on the show, only Susan consistently refuses to take part in any TV reunions of The Partridge Family.”
