Many who remember the era will surely know the sultry vixen Raquel Welch. She first gained attention in her 1966 movies – Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C., but she quickly became an icon in the 1970s. She always appeared sexy in her films, which is what male audiences looked for, though she was not a bad actress really. However, her goddess-like looks always played the lead role, particularly in skimpy, and alluring wardrobes. Even the 1970s western Hannie Caulder became popular simply because it starred Raquel Welch. This was the 70s after all, so freedom to express oneself, in any way they chose, was not unnatural. And Raquel always chose to flaunt what she had, and many thank her for it.  Even up to now when she will be 80 years old by September, she still  looks amazing…even while she has had plastic surgery since she first became popular decades ago. Works for some people.
